About this Event

One of the most difficult aspects of learning a Mozart role is the demanding recitative passages — let alone the expense of coaching hours with an Italian language coach and repiteteur!

The M Institute for the Arts is thrilled to present this exclusive hack for singers wanting to learn the most popular Mozart roles on a dime!

Italian Dramatic Soprano Capucine Chiaudani hosts this intensive masterclass series featuring three of the most often-produced operas of all time. Each class will focus on the recitative passages of a different opera:

October 24th – Le Nozze di Figaro

November 14th – Don Giovanni

December 5th – Così fan tutte

If you register as a singer participant for any of the masterclasses, you will be assigned a recitative from the role of your choice to workshop during the class with Ms. Chiaudani. It is your responsibility to learn the passage before the class so that it can be effectively coached.

All singer participants are asked to attend a brief soundcheck one half hour before the class is scheduled to begin.

There are six singer participant spots available, first come first serve. There are unlimited tickets to audit/watch this class. If you would like access to a replay of the live class, you must purchase the $5 replay add-on to your ticket. Class recordings will not be sent without this purchase.
