Who’s Capucine Chiaudani Born in Genoa, the Italian soprano Capucine Chiaudani studied singing at the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice and at the Conservatorio G.B.Martini in Bologna. She went on to further vocal training at the Opernstudio in Zurich. She participated to masterclasses with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Dalton Baldwin, and Maestro Leone Magiera. Professor for Classical Singing at the Kalaidos University in Zürich, Capucine gave Masterclasses as guest-professor at the HKB University of the Arts in Bern, the Swiss Opera Studio in Biel, the Operastudio Netherland Amsterdam, the Lyric Opera Studio in Weimar and the Berlin Opera Academy. She performed in world-renowned opera houses and festivals mainly Soprano and Mezzosoprano roles, such as Medea, Tosca, Fedora, Desdemona (Otello), Leonora (Forza del destino), Mimi’(Boheme), Fiordiligi and Despina (Cosi’fan tutte), Donna Elvira (Dion Giovanni), Alice Ford (Falstaff), Nedda (Pagliacci), Flora (Traviata), Gertrude (Hänsel e Gretel), Berta (Barbiere di Siviglia), Laura (Luisa Miller), Maria de Buenos Aires (Piazzolla). Nowadays her biggest passion is to pass her stage experience and know-how on to younger generations of singers.
