Perhaps this feels familiar

You practise. You care. Yet the same uncertainty returns.

Your voice can feel effortless one day and impossible the next. More exercises are not always the answer. What is often missing is a map that connects what you feel, what you hear and what your body needs to do.

Capucine guiding a singer through movement, breath and expression
Technique you can embodyBody, breath and sound belong to the same process.
01 · TOO MANY ANSWERS

You have collected advice — but not a system.

Breath tips, vowel tricks and warm-ups make sense separately, yet you are still unsure what to use, when to use it and why.

02 · UNRELIABLE RESULTS

A good sound appears, then disappears.

You know the voice you want is there. The difficulty is reproducing it consistently without pushing, overthinking or depending on luck.

03 · THE BODY FEELS DISCONNECTED

You hear the correction, but cannot embody it.

Words like support, cover, appoggio and placement remain abstract until you understand the physical coordination behind them.

“Your voice and your body are one unique, vibrating instrument.”

A different way to understand technique

You are not a collection of vocal problems. You are an instrument.

Exactly as in sport, reliable performance comes from conscious coordination — not from forcing the result.

Fundamentals gives you the framework Capucine calls becoming an Athlete of the Voice: understanding the structures of your instrument, training precise manoeuvres and learning how to choose the right response for the sound you want.

Know what to do. Replace vague images with practical physical actions.

Know when to do it. Coordinate breath, support, diction and resonance in real musical situations.

Know why it works. Build autonomy instead of depending on accidental sensations.

Clear explanations. Physical demonstrations. Ideas you can test in your very next practice.

The course combines technical understanding with direct, practical work. Lessons are divided into focused fragments of approximately 15–20 minutes, so you can learn without overwhelm and return to the material when your voice needs it.

What changes when the pieces connect

From “I hope it works today” to “I know it will work today.”

The aim is not a single beautiful note. It is a process you can understand, repeat and keep developing on your own.

A reliable technical map

Recognise the essential structures of classical singing and how alignment, breath, larynx, resonators and articulation work together.

03

Freedom through diction

Use vowels and consonants to support legato, clarity, resonance and expression without tightening the jaw.

A clearer passaggio

Understand coperto, tilting, the soft palate and inalare la voce so registration becomes coordinated rather than feared.

05

Tools for real repertoire

Apply the principles to coloratura, staccato, legato, recitative, declamato and daily warm-up work.

06

Greater autonomy and joy

Know what deserves your attention, practise with purpose and rediscover the pleasure of singing with less fear and less wasted effort.

Is this course for me?

If classical singing matters to you, start where your voice is today.

You do not need to arrive with perfect technique. You need curiosity, patience and the desire to understand your instrument more consciously.

01 · BEGINNING

You need a trustworthy foundation.

Learn the vocabulary and physical logic of classical singing before confusion becomes habit.

02 · EXPERIENCED

You want to reconnect the pieces.

Refresh your know-how, revise old assumptions and make your technique more repeatable.

“You will learn that singing becomes easier when you know what matters — and when to do what.”

Maestra Capucine Chiaudani

Why trust Capucine with your voice?

Stage experience, academic rigour — and a voice rebuilt from silence.

“Singing was my way to communicate with the world. It was a calling, not a choice.”

Born in Genoa, Capucine studied singing at the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice and the Conservatorio G.B. Martini in Bologna. She continued her training with Arrigo Pola — Pavarotti’s first teacher — Gabriella Tucci, Maria Luisa Cioni and Paolo Vaglieri, and took part in masterclasses with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Giusy Devinu, Dalton Baldwin and Leone Magiera.

Today she is an accredited Voice Professor for Classical Singing at Kalaidos University in Zürich and has taught singers in universities, conservatories and opera studios across Europe and internationally.

Years ago, heavy chemotherapy caused Capucine to lose her voice in the middle of her career. She rebuilt it from scratch and returned to the stage. That experience transformed her teaching: technique became not an abstract ideal, but a path back to autonomy, confidence and hope.

Before you enrol

Good questions are part of conscious training.

If doubt is keeping you at the edge of the process, start here.

Do I need to be an advanced or professional singer?

No. The course is designed for beginners, advanced students, passionate amateurs and professionals. Beginners receive a map for healthy singing; experienced singers can reorganise and refresh their know-how.

Is this only for opera singers?

The course is rooted in classical singing, Italian Belcanto and operatic technique. It is especially relevant for classical singers, choir singers, voice educators and anyone seriously interested in how the classical voice works.

What if I am recovering from a vocal crisis?

The course offers practical understanding and hope, and Capucine’s own teaching is deeply informed by rebuilding her voice after illness. It is educational, however, and does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment from a qualified voice specialist.

Will a pre-recorded course be too overwhelming?

The 53 lectures are divided into focused fragments of roughly 15–20 minutes. You can pause, repeat and digest the material at your own rhythm instead of trying to absorb an entire chapter at once.

What language is the course in?

The course is taught in English and includes subtitles in English and Chinese. Italian Belcanto terminology and diction are explained within the lessons.

Can I purchase only one chapter?

Yes. Individual chapters are available from Capucine’s course platform. The complete package is recommended because the six chapters form one connected technical map and currently save €50 compared with buying separately.

What is included beyond the videos?

The complete package includes the six-chapter learning path and a 10% discount on one 60-minute private coaching session, subject to Capucine’s availability.

Your true voice is not a lucky accident

Give your practice the map it has been missing.
